Talent Unlocked ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, store and disclose your personal information when you use our website, talentunlocked.com.au, and our services. We handle personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

Talent Unlocked Pty Ltd ABN 53 698 518 197, trading as Talent Unlocked.

What we collect

We collect personal information that you provide directly to us, primarily through forms on our website. Depending on the form, this may include your name, email address, phone number, the organisation, club or school you represent, your role (for example athlete, parent, coach, teacher, administrator or committee member), the sport or age group you're enquiring about, and any details you include in free-text enquiry fields.

Where you purchase or participate in one of our products or programs, we also collect the information needed to deliver it. For our mindset profiles, this includes your responses to the assessment questionnaire and the resulting report. For Athlete+, this includes performance testing results.

We also automatically collect technical and usage information when you visit the site, including your IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, and how you arrived at and move through the site. This is collected via cookies and analytics tools (see below).

We do not currently use advertising or tracking pixels (such as the Meta/Facebook pixel). If we introduce these in future, we will update this policy.

How we use your information

We use your personal information to respond to your enquiries, provide and administer our products and services (including the SportsPOP™ and CoachPOP™ mindset profiles, the Squad Mindset Report, The Warrior Within, Athlete+, 1 on 1 Coaching, and our learning and development engagements), process bookings and purchases, communicate with you about your enquiry or purchase, improve our website and services, and meet our legal obligations. We only use it for the purpose it was provided, or a directly related purpose you would reasonably expect.

Cookies and analytics

Our website uses Google Analytics, a service provided by Google LLC, to understand how visitors use our site. Google Analytics uses cookies to collect information such as pages viewed, time on site, and general location (derived from IP address). This information is aggregated and helps us improve the site. Google may process this data on servers outside Australia. You can learn more at Google's privacy policy and opt out using Google's browser add-on.

You can set your browser to refuse cookies or alert you when cookies are being sent. Some parts of the site may not function properly if you disable cookies.

Disclosure to third parties

We do not sell your personal information. We may share it with service providers who help us operate our business, including our website host (Crazy Domains), Google (analytics), Stripe (payment processing), our psychometric assessment provider (Self Management Group, who administer the SportsPOP™ and CoachPOP™ assessments), and our email and forms platforms. We require these providers to handle your information consistently with this policy. We may also disclose information where required by law.

Some of these providers may store or process data overseas. Where we disclose information to overseas recipients, we take reasonable steps to ensure it is handled appropriately.

Children and young people

Some of our services involve young athletes. The SportsPOP™ Athlete Mindset Profile is intended for individuals aged 16 and over. The Warrior Within is designed for athletes aged 13 to 18, and Athlete+ for athletes aged 12 and over. Where information relating to a person under 18 is collected (for example, through a parent, coach, club or school), we expect that it is provided with appropriate consent, and we handle it with particular care. Athletes control the sharing of their own profile reports.

How we store and protect your information

We take reasonable steps to protect your personal information from misuse, interference, loss, and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described in this policy or as required by law, after which we take reasonable steps to destroy or de-identify it.

Accessing and correcting your information

You may request access to the personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it if it is inaccurate, out of date or incomplete. Contact us using the details below. We will respond within a reasonable period.

Complaints

If you have a concern about how we have handled your personal information, please contact us first so we can try to resolve it. If you are not satisfied, you may lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version will always be available on this page, with the "last updated" date revised accordingly.
